Information used by the service

To provide the features you request, the bot processes message text, voice recordings, images and quoted content. Telegram also supplies identifiers such as user and chat IDs and profile names. The service stores identifiers, language preferences, group and subscription settings, and usage statistics needed to operate the bot.

Most message content is handled to generate the requested response and is not routinely reviewed by the founder. If a translation fails, its text and related delivery details may be stored in a retry queue; retry records are configured for seven-day retention. The service is not anonymous, and we cannot promise that no person with authorized access to the VDS or service records could ever access stored data.

Why information is processed

Information is used to translate and deliver messages, transcribe voice notes, answer research and image questions, generate images, support learning features, manage access and subscriptions, and diagnose service issues.

Translation is grounded in the current message. When you explicitly ask about quoted content, that content may be included in the research request.

Third-party services

Telegram delivers bot interactions. AI and media providers automatically process the text, audio or images needed for the requested feature; web research may send relevant search terms to search services. Providers may process data in other countries under their own terms and privacy policies. The models are automated processors, not independent privacy auditors, and their use does not guarantee confidentiality.

Provider selection can vary by feature and availability. A message may itself identify you or someone else, so avoid sending information that requires confidential or specially protected handling. Contact us for current processing details.

Please do not share passwords, payment details, identity documents, medical or financial information, home addresses, or other sensitive personal information in groups or bot chats. Remember that other group members can see messages posted in the group too.

Storage and deletion

Different records have different operational purposes. Preferences and subscription records support ongoing access; retry records support delivery after a failure. We do not promise that all messages are immediately deleted or that the service keeps no records.

You may request access, correction or deletion by contacting founder@catranslate.com. We may need to verify the request. Retention and deletion can be affected by active service needs and applicable obligations. Telegram and other providers manage copies under their own policies.

This website

The published website is hosted on a CATranslate-managed Windows VDS. It has no advertising trackers, analytics, account forms or payment processing, and it does not store a language choice in your browser. Opening Telegram or an email link takes you to another service with its own privacy practices.

The hosting server and network providers may process ordinary connection data, such as IP address, request time and requested page, to deliver the site and diagnose faults. Service records are kept on the hosting infrastructure and may be accessible to people with authorized administrative access. We do not claim that data is inaccessible to every human or provide a guarantee of absolute security.
